Superb watch, can't stop admiring watch face. Top quality build and puts my more expensive Citizen collection in the shade, some of which are double the price.! Can't see me taking this off for a while, my advice is to buy one, at the price from Watchshop it is unbeatable value.!

Birthday present for a relative, as they are advancing in years they wanted a fairly basic large format G-Shock that is simple to set up and has a clear display.

Initial feedback is they are very happy with the size of the display and the large strap, and build seems to be what you’d expect for an entry level G-Shock.

Good quality watch. I’m travelling to Thailand and I wanted somehing solid, reliable and waterproof. The ability to have 4 different time zones set up on the watch at any one time is a great feature for travel. This watch ticks all the boxes for me. Very pleased with my purchase

Got this watch for a birthday present for my dad. He loves the style and all the different functions its has. He has trouble seeing the time on a watch but can see the time one this watch with out his glasses on.

Now that I’ve had a chance to assess my new Casio G-Shock GD100-1AER watch here are my views on my findings so far. My first impression of the watch was that it was fairly large and would be best suited for persons with large wrists. Ive worn this watch every day since I got it and its quickly becoming one of my favourites. Although on the large side it only weights 72 grams so it does not have the noticeable presence of a heavier watch and after a while you could forget you are wearing it. The positive display is reasonably large and very easy to read. In the timekeeping mode it displays time in hours, minutes and seconds and the day and date. At night the super- illuminator LED backlight lights up the display nice and bright. Navigating through the mass of features isnt difficult simply because Casio did a sterling job of creating a user manual which is user friendly and easily understood for novices enjoying their first experience of a G-Shock digital watch.
This is a practical, good looking, functional watch which will serve you well for years to come due to the legendary toughness and durability of the G-Shock family. You get a lot of watch for the money here and having complete confidence in its reliability, would have no hesitation in recommending it if it’s styling appeals to you.

Great watch, looks great in the pic but the real thing is so much better! I looked at so many different g shock watches and being a police officer I needed a watch that was big and tough, could handle pretty much anything but at the same time had to look good!! Some of the other watches with the black background looked quite slick however after reading reviews on them found a lot of people had difficulty reading the time as it just wasnt clear enough. This has no such problem, the watch looks amazing, such an easy and clear display but also has the automatic light feature when you lift up the watch which I absolutely love. It has 5 alarms and loads other features and its one of the bigger g shock watches and at this price it is without a doubt a cracking deal.

Superb chunky G Shock. Looks excellent on and no worries about damaging it on board the boat. I have another G shock and find them to be excellent robust watches. I have no hesitation in recommending this watch for every day use or work.

This is an excellent product which does everything it says on the tin.
I bought it as a holiday watch but I suspect it will become more than that.

Good, sturdy watch as you would expect. A little bulky if you have small wrists, wanted a watch that would clearly show day, date and time without having to press buttons to find them, this watch ticks those boxes. I work offshore and needed a watch that lasts, and as yet this is the one.

Casio G-shock alarm chronograph Gd100 1 AER. . . .What a lot of watch for little money. Great functions ie, stop watch,5 alams, hourly chime, world time, water resistent, and best of all shock proof. I have had loads of watches and doing manual work was destroying them but recently had a look at my work mates watch, and after him telling me how it had lasted for so long i had to have one. Its not as if you are giving up style for the G-Shock feature as watches look great. There light weight on the wrist even if they are chunky, but this was something i considered as not having the biggest wrists but watch just looks great. Its hard to choose which watch to buy as all look good and have all the features you would need, i went for this one for the look of it and not dissapointed. Casio G-Shock is a watch with purose, get this watch and you would have made a good choice, with all the features it has as well as mineral glass. It baffles me how Casio can give us such great watches with these features at this price.

I bought this as a gift for my teenage brother and he loves it so much! The fact that the colour red matches black perfectly! My money was really worth it. Having it waterproof and shock resistant is perfect for my brother. I recommend it for all ages 100%!

Really nice watch easy to read time and for my job the shock stop to break. Also the design is good and the fact I have different time from around the globe is good. I dont like the bracelet it seem to me that is not strong enough and look quiet cheap

This is a very good watch, its nice looking, good and bulky a proper man's watch, it has good features and their easy to use, very useful for many things I use it day to day but mainly for the gym for the countdown timer and stop watch, I'd recommend it anyone 10/10

This is a great looking large watch that has all the features I personally need. I love the LED flashing to accompany the alarm (btw there are 5 one time alarms, some reviews elsewhere only list the watch as having one alarm.)
It has the usual stopwatch, timer and worldtime etc.
The LED lights are super bright and can be used as a mini torch, they can be set for either 1 or 3 sec duration.
Overall it's a cool looking bargain priced watch with the usual G-Shock features and ruggedness, buy with confidence!

Im working offshore , so i need a good tough reliable watch , always the case with a G-shock ,they never cease to amaze me ,the quality is second to none. I have a few watches but this is the one i like to wear all the time .Life is precious and time should not be mist ,never miss a minuite wear a G-shock on your wrist.

Fantastic watch, originally bought for when I am doing cross country mountain biking but now wear it for lots of occasions! Smart looking, the red g shock looks good against the black watch. Easy to keep clean, strong wrist straps and not too bulky, looks the part! Flashing alarm will flash per hour as well, just about loud enough to wake me up. will be back for another one! I don't think anyone would be disappointed with the quality of build.

This is the watch that made me finally switch to wearing a watch again instead of relying on my mobile phone! Recently I exposed my G-Shock to its first challenging environment at the British Airways 777 Flight Simulator at Heathrow. Reliability is paramount in such a critical situation and it's good to know that my timepiece will support me and give me accurate feedback when I need it. This is definitely a watch for the long-haul, well made from high quality materials like stainless steel combined with the durability of resin moulding. I look forward to still wearing it when I'm the captain of a real 777 aricraft!

Very happy with my new watch. Its quite a chunky watch but at the same time stylish and light. I also think it looks alot more expensive than it actually is. The watch has all the features you need in a watch,time,date,alarm,stop watch,water resistant plus it has a very good (blue) light that comes on when you lift your arm to look at the time. This is my first ever G-shock and I'm happy with my choice.

First for the price its an amazingly nice watch.The face of the watch is well laid out.The font has changed for the better. And as advertised the light is very bright. And has quite a few functions as well. I highly recommend this watch.
