I ordered 2 off Emporio Armani Chronograph watches. The watches were correct, however they arrived in Armani exchange boxes and the bar codes and item numbers on the box and watch didn’t match. They were meant to be gifts for my best men on my wedding day. All in all very poor experience. Items have been returned!

The mens emporio Armani chronograph watch is very classic and chic for any occasion wear. The classic black dial stands out with the stainless steel strap. Very visible and clear to see the time. That style of watch should be in every guys collection.
Lovely genuine watch at a great price, be very wary of the half price ones on ebay and amazon they may look the same but will never stand the test of time. As for Watchshop i have now used them a couple of times, they have not let me down

This watch is a very nice one. It has a nice wait to it and has a nice fit. The black face goes nicely with the silver body. It is comfortable to wear and fairly easy to take off although the clasp can be a bit tricky sometimes.

The watch has a good weight to it and fastens with a chunky stainless steel deployment clasp, it’s case is 43mm and the thickness is 12mm but the watch is thin enough that it will fit under the cuff of a suit shirt. I bought this watch for my boyfriends birthday, I am not one for buying one expensive present however this watch is an exception. This watch is modern, stylish and an amazing price for what is a big brand designer watch. My boyfriend is in love with this watch and is never a day without it constantly showing it off and having people ask where he got it It is formal, smart and good quality with an obvious use of good sustainable materials but its also not a bank breaker...a perfect mix of cost and quality, usually I would say you get what you pay for but with this watch I believe you get more than what you pay for.
The watch face itself is black and quite chunky, the black matches well with everything and the size is good for those who prefer that kind of style or those who struggle to read small numbers. The stroke used to represent the numbers isnt always everyones cup of tea but if that is something you dont mind this is the watch for you!
Neither I nor my boyfriend have had a bad experience with the watch so far and we would both strongly recommend this watch to anyone interested.

Purchased this watch through the watch shop and saved £££. Was slightly concerned about authenticity but shouldnt have been. Collected at goldsmiths where the same watch is for sale for £360, where they informed me that they owned the watch shop. Watch comes with certificate of authenticity anyway for 100% piece of mind.
Used the price match option on watch shop Web site to get the watch for under £150!!
Also took out the 3yr insurance offer for only £18 which covers everything including accidental damage, theft, loss.
Had the watch altered to fit free of charge.
As for the watch itself, I cant fault it. Looks as youd expect a piece of armani jewellery to look. Stylish, expensive looking, well made. Was worried it might look too big on my thin wrist but looks great, reassuringly heavy, but not overly so.
Self winding function great and unexpected for a watch that cost so little.
If I was being very critical then Id say that in some cases the dial can sometimes be difficult to see as its highly polished but I can live with that.
Comes presented in a quality package.
All in all its a great timepiece and it was a pleasure to buy it though the watch shop.

Bought as a 21st birthday present. Recipient very pleased with it. Its a nice compromise between traditional and contemporary. The face isnt too big, though the strap is much too large and is going to need links taking out. Very shiny and impressive and the box was very nice too. Not all too sure how to work all the little bits and bobs but Im sure hell work it all out in time. I was disappointed to find out that the second clock cannot be changed to another time zone as I thought this would be a nice idea because the recipients partner lives in central America. I bought this watch as a gift for my boyfriend for his birthday. When purchasing the watch the ordering process was simple and easy to use. I got next day delivery for it, and was pleasantly surprised to see there was no extra charge for it. The watch came next day I think and was in a secure box with fragile stickers over it, which is reassuring. Upon opening the box you see the Armani packaging which is very classy and is exactly what you would expect from a designer brand. The watch is then contained within another box insise of that one. Upon opening the box when caching a first glimpse of the watch you can tell its made with quality materials and Armani have done a fantastic job. The face is classy and the silver strap is just as nice with two different finishes to the silver. Brilliant watch to wear. Very comfortable metal strap with a brilliant locking system. One downside is the size of the links to make it easier to adjust but you can still get a good fit once tested a few times.

Bought this watch a while back before it reached its lofty price of today and can say although its nice theres no way its worth the money. Totally paying for the brand name. I sent it back as the second I opened the box I noticed it was extremely difficult to see the hour and minute hands and that the watch needed to be tilted to catch the correct light to see the time. I opted for a watch far more practical and just as nice but for a reasonable price. Would not recommend this watch on practicality.

I bought this watch for my husband hes a fan of armarni watched and this one is by far his favourite. The black face is lovely with nice detail it looks exactly like the picture with a really nice silver strap which fits nice an flat on the wrist. The face sits relatively flat to an not raised too much which is a nice smooth appearance. Highly recommended.

I decided to go on watchshop and come across the AR2434. I couldnt believe the price near enough 100 pound cheaper than any other shop. If Im being honest I was abit apprehensive about ordering to my door so decided to click and collect to my nearest goldsmith shop. It arrived within 2 days. The lady told me my boyfriend could come into goldsmith any time and make any adjustments if needed. We chose a silver bracelet and black face and it looks very smart. The watch is a nice weight, not flimsy but not to heavy for his wrist as he is 15. It has a date function and three dials to time minutes, hours and days. All in all a very nice watch which Id recommend to anyone.

I bought this watch to wear both formally and day-to-day. It definitely has the versatility to look the part no matter where or when I wear it, or even what I wear it with! I work in an Emergency Service Control Room, an environment where the seconds count and where I find myself looking to my wrist constantly. For this reason I was meticulous in choosing ‘the right watch for me’ and I could not be happier with my decision. I’ve not had the watch long but it has already attracted many compliments from friends, family and work colleagues.
Appearance:
This is a watch to be proud of, no doubt about it. For me it was love at first sight. Sophistication and high end style emanates from every angle when viewing this smart timepiece. The watch is presented beautifully and secured safely in a rounded matt-black Emporio Armani presentation box. In order to keep the presentation of the watch looking clean and classy this has it’s own elegant black card storage box with matt black plastic sleeve. The watch comes with a Georgio Armani Certificate of Authenticity inclusive of serial number, Instruction Manual in 11 languages and Sales Receipt. The details of the manufacturer’s International 2 Year Warranty can be found towards the back of the Instruction Manual.
The face of this AR2434 appealed to me because of its size although considered a large watch [41mm] I found it to be neither too big nor too small for my relatively skinny – 16.5cm – wrists, its tasteful silver baton hour markers and the well-considered proportions of the three chronograph dials. Everything about the deep black and polished silver dial just ‘works’ in terms of how it looks. The date window really ‘pops’ in the 4 o’clock position with its crisp white background and shiny silver frame. I’m a particular admirer of the tiny details and exquisite care taken in the design of this watch. The diminutive concentric circle grooves almost reminiscent of tiny vinyl discs that sit behind the hour markers and the chronograph dials really add a sense of depth, quality and sheen to the watch face.
The case and chunky metal strap are both beautifully formed from stainless steel, some elements polished to a brilliant shine the strap links and some brushed the band of the strap to provide a well-delivered contrast that avoids making the wrist appear garish and blingy if that’s a word?. The overall result is a watch that glimmers and shines, catching light splendidly whilst never detracting from the clarity of the dial itself.
The Georgio Armani logo can be found etched delicately into the crown and also the polished clasp of the strap, whilst it makes further appearances most prominently in the 12 o’clock position on the watch face but also subtly on the rear of the case as you’d probably expect.
Features:
Clasp Push Button Deployment – This is my favourite mechanism for securing a watchstrap. There is a real sense of elegance in the simplicity of the design taking a watch off could not be simpler. The shape and size of the mechanism also provides a certain rigidity to the strap when wearing the watch, it’s comfortable curve helps position the watch perfectly.
Chronograph – The seconds subdial has numbered increments at 20, 40 and 60 whilst the minute subdial is numbered in the more traditional 15, 30, 45, 60 format. There’s something about the simplicity of these dials that I find far more attractive than the often over-complicated chronograph faces available on other watches – though I know this is a matter of personal taste. The polished steel Start/Stop and Reset buttons on this watch are not too prominent, they’re perfectly in keeping with the polished bezel and they have a quality ‘spring’ when pressed that inspires confidence in the build quality of the watch.
Crown Adjustment – Position 1 changes the date whilst position 2 controls the time. I’ve found the adjustment of both very simple and the hands move with a smooth and graceful flow as you would expect from this manufacturer.
Fit:
Here’s where I took a bit of a gamble with this watch but I was prepared to due to its masculine and refined aesthetic appeal. I am aware that chunky metal straps and slim wrists can sometimes not go well together. I’ve always been told that the adjustment of larger links can result in the watch being just that bit too loose or too tight. I have to say though this watch having now been adjusted at my local Goldsmiths store fits me absolutely perfectly. The lugs sit precisely around the curve of my wrist and I’m left with little to no indentations on my skin when I take the watch off which mostly is due to the perfect smoothing of any edges that could otherwise be sharp or snag ie. the crown/clasp/link edges.
The weight of the watch is certainly not heavy but it carries a definite presence on the wrist, enough that it doesn’t feel dainty or feminine but not so much that it feels cumbersome and restrictive.
As I mentioned before, the shape and length of the clasp really does give a secure/confident fit and when coupled with the weight of the watch I find it a true pleasure to wear.
Build Quality:
I find it difficult to say anything other than just how perfectly crafted this watch is. If I were giving a percentage score for Build Quality then this would easily warrant 100%.
Conclusion:
I am exceptionally happy with this watch. I am particularly happy with how the chunky metal strap looks on my slim wrists, I expected that this would be something I’d have to live with/get used to but I’m confident that this watch really does look ‘made for me’.
I cannot recommend highly enough both this brand and this retailer.
Providing I encounter no problems in the future with this watch I anticipate using this for the rest of my life, only buying an alternative if I grow the appetite to build a collection!
